Onto the latest update for the Enroth collection:
For those that remember, last year I picked up my most wanted card with the elusive 2014-15 MVP Gold Script parallel numbered #/100. To start the month, here is another one of the printing plates that helped create the card:
2014-15 MVP Magenta Printing Plate 1/1
Aside from being the 89th 1/1, it is also the 800th card in total for this collection. What a cool milestone to reach!

Updating the collection with something new... modern SHL cards! For the first time in over 10 years, the SHL now has licensed cards again. Great timing! They are made by SportZoo, a card manufacturer from Slovakia.
These first two were from the new LIVE program, which is similar to Upper Deck's Game Dated Moments cards. I managed to also snag the Green parallel /5, which were distributed at random.
The moment they featured in this set was from the game Enroth made one of the saves of the year. If amazing behind-the-back glove saves are your thing, check it out here:

The next two were from the SHL Series 1 boxed product that was released last week. So happy to get current in-season Enroth cards! First time since 2020, so it's been awhile.

2025-26 SHL Series 1 - Game Jersey Autographs /25
The game-used memorabilia is from a 2025-26 preseason game on September 2nd, 2025 vs Leksand IF. I was even able to find a nice photo-match!

Hey everyone! More mail from Sweden.... = More Fun!
Picked up this sweet Shamrock Green base parallel serial numbered to just 30 copies. They look really sharp in-person, and they also partially feature a cool 'cracked ice' foil pattern over the face of the card. I like that!
I also picked up another Game Jersey card /50. This time featuring a cool Maroon/Red jersey swatch. Stoked to grab this extra copy.

Two new cards for the collection tonight! Recently, I was lucky enough to add some new cards with a good old fashioned cardboard trade! My favourite by far is the Unique Mark /24. It's such a nice card.

I can't remember the last time I did a straight up trade, and it brings me back to the roots of my collecting journey when I would trade with friends. I don't know if I'll ever make a trade of this magnitude ever again, especially for Enroth cards, but I'm glad I was able to get a deal like this done. I'd call this trade a very successful one!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. To mark the 90th 1/1 in this collection, I was luckily able to acquire the Base 1/1 from the recent SHL Series 1 release. Fun!

As the landscape of cards has changed so much during my time as a collector, I still find myself, even all these years later, being drawn more into the "simple" 1/1's as oppose to the more flashy ones at times. While each card plays a role in my collection, I still very much enjoy the simplicity of a base 1/1. The fact that it can be part of a lengthily rainbow is an added bonus!
As Enroth's career winds down, I am lucky that I've been able to acquire varies base/insert 1/1 parallels over the years. Here is a fun 'Career Retrospective' image compiling of a few 1/1 cards stretching across his career. These large photo cards were licensed by Örebro HK and printed / sold by Gallerix, a printing company located in Sweden. I've always enjoyed adding various team issued items over the years. It's something unique that can't be found in a box of cards. I hope you enjoyed this latest update!

The Tag C card /3 is from the words "Närkes Stolthet", a slogan that was featured on the back of that preseason jersey set, which translates to "Närke's Pride" in English - A nod towards the province that the city of Örebro resides in.

For my 91st 1/1, it's another European shield! ... But you've never seen a card like this before.
2025-26 SportZoo SHL Series 1 Unique Mark Tag B (Närke Shield) 1/1

The memorabilia used in this card is from a SHL Preseason game on September 2nd, 2025.
The game-worn memorabilia features the Swedish Province of Närke's heraldic shield, which has origins dating back to the year 1560 during the renaissance era!
In today's sporting culture, this provincial shield can be seen flying proudly at Örebro home & away games throughout the year.
I hope you enjoyed my latest collection update! After finding the KHL shield last year, I never would have guessed a second European game-used shield card would be made, let alone make it's way into my collection in less than a year. Wow!

These are some fun, cheap cards that look great. I also enjoy the Team Card, which I was able to notice Enroth pictured ever so slightly in the action photo during gameplay. A fun (small) cameo card added to the collection!
