My latest Valabik pickups

Hi guys

It's been a while since I posted on here - not a lot of pickups recently due to an impending round the world trip in September ( San Franciso - New Zealand - Singapore )

These are my recent Valabik pickups, some of the best of my collection and all due to my good friend Kevin Oblocki - he has either picked these up for me or facilitated a deal for me.

Now this is the highlight of my collection - my first proper 1/1 ( I have several press plates - but you know what I mean ). This came in a purchase from jmdorsey - he is on these boards but very rarely. He was kind enough to make a deal with me that involved installments - and he sent before I'd completed payment. That level of trust means a lot to me - I have finished paying now, and felt it was the right time to show the card

I admit it's not a Shield or a Property Of - but this is my first proper 1/1 and I'm thrilled with it

I think I knew that - but was too stupid to get the letters right when I typed

On a related note - since the product was released I've never seen a single one ............. I'm beginning to think that they weren't produced. I would've seen one by now surely

Just 2 left for the lettermen - V & K

He wasn't in many 09/10 issues ( as expected ) so it let me catch up a bit, but it is also frustrating when there aren't many new cards to chase on Ebay

Nice cards and your round the world trip sounds very interesting.

I did visit Singapore last summer too, very clean&nice place.

One suggestion if you like animals goto Singapore Zoo, its awesome place.

Thanks for the comments - Singapore is the last leg of our trip, I think my family are hoping it's a nice relaxing 48 hour stop ............. never !!

I think we will be on Orchard Road and hopefully the Botanic Gardens + Hard Rock Cafe and perhaps the Singapore Flyer

I completed the Black VALABIK when I collected him

I sold off most but kept the name plate.

I have it if interested.
