Well I finally got Photo bucket to actually reset my PW. It only took 48 hours. In the digital world, that's like a 15 year delay.

I am gonna make this quick (well let's see what eventually happens and if this becomes a TLDR or not).

Most of my expo posts kinda sorta start the same way. I saw my friends, bro-hugged, high-fived and had dinner wit em all at Jack Astor's after I unloaded the merchandize at the show. I ordered Nachos as my meal and ate every flippin' bit of it.

Got up early on Friday AM and set up my booth. Pardon the crappy shot but there is someone famous in the photo. The only and only GFORCE. I have known him for so long that I forgot his name and called him something else until he politely reminded me of his name on Sunday. SORRYRYRYRYRYRYRY

Went out for dinner at the Keg afterwards and had another plate of nachos for dinner. The Keg nachos are <enter nsfw verbiage here>.

I had 6 goals at the show. I had to come up with something because I had zero time to prepare for it. Those were to a) have fun, b)get rid of my extra two winter classic jackets c) get rid of my vintage game and d) get rid of pretty any and all booklet cards that I owned and finally e) sell of my 2 remaining NHL hats and f) sell as many used one touches as I could. There was one more, but its not quite a goal. I wanted to make sure I only had ice cream and pizza on one of the days at the show.

Let's come back to my goals later after I show you some good pics.
There was one that made me laugh hard. I trolled Moe on FB and I will share here

Have you never seen such a sad display of marketing in your life??? The best part are the two sparkly things hangin' on the curtain. AND THE CLOTHES PINS.. BAHAHAAHAHAH

Sorry Moe, I love ya but that was a Kodak moment!

Funny Story: There is only one I can think of. Quincy the quick king of quackeroos showed up on Saturday. When Fawad and I saw him, he had his back to us. Quincy was wearing a white shirt. Fawad and I were like.. something is wrong. Then Quincy turned around and he had an amazingly aweful design on the front of his shirt. Fawad and I were like.... as long as he walks backwards, our eyes will not hurt.

I didn't want to spend too much loot but I consider the items below, my top 3 pick ups.

So how did I do on my goals?
Lets see..

I had 6 goals at the show. I had to come up with something because I had zero time to prepare for it. Those were to a) have fun (CHECK), b)get rid of my extra two winter classic jackets (Only sold one, Gosh Darn it to heck) c) get rid of my vintage game (CHECK) d) get rid of pretty any and all booklet cards that I owned (4 remaining out of 20 ish)and finally e) sell of my 2 remaining NHL hats (SOLD ONE ONLY DARN IT TO HECK) and f) sell as many used one touches as I could (SOLD 8 out of 300 + lol). There was one more, but its not quite a goal. I wanted to make sure I only had ice cream and pizza on one of the days at the show. DID YOU KNOW THEY SOLD FRIES AT THE SHOW???!?!?!?!?.. I HAD 3 A DAY FOR 3 DAYS AT $6 BUCKS A POP. SO I ATE THE EQUIVALENT OF ALMOST $50 BUCKS OF FRIED POTATOS.. GOOD LORD.. HELP ME.. AT LEAST I HAD NO PIZZA AND ICE CREAM ONLY ONCE

Ok I will stop yelling. I wanna give a shout out to the homies that were there. Gomaz, the two steves, Lorenzo, Barone, Kent, Darrel, Elijah, G-Force, Moe, Disprimate, Frankiefives and a plethora of others I have seen.

Ravman, I missed ya buddy
Fastmax, I missed ya buddy
Crop dusters.. I did NOT miss ya..

Last but not least, there is one autograph collector who wears shorts and brown tank top. I see him at every single expo. The tank top has the same stain on it that I had seen in years past. I will splurge and buy him a new tank top for the November show. I gotta do this for all of us who have seen this cray foo.

Cheers and see you all in November!

Sounds like a good time Ameet, I keep telling myself I'm gonna bite the bullet and make my way up there some day. Oh, and I love how PSA considers Sandy Koufax and Al Kaline "& Others". :snapout:

That Hank Aaron PSA certified auto'd Cracker Jack card is amazing. What a unique and interesting find! I like the McLean SP Game-Used Patch. I always liked McLean. Don't see many player collectors that collect him anymore. One of the best Canucks goalies ever.

FYI, that brown tank top use to be white.

Love that Mclean. wow!!

Some nice pickups Ameet.

How was the show this year? I see the S&T threads are not plentiful but that doesn't mean it wasn't well attended.

For some reason after reading this post I want some fries. lol

Ameet;

Great seeing you as always even if you don't remember who I am.

McLean collectors are around...believe me. I've stopped bidding on McLean stuff because I don't want to put the amounts of money down that some do. It's almost old school Linden-esque sometimes :)
