OK, so my project isn’t finished yet, but inspired by mjanko3800’s s/t thread (http://www.hobbyinsider.net/forum/showthread.php?t=376663) of his completed nameplate project, here’s mine.
So, for me it all started with pulling Barber’s “B” from Broad Street Boys. And a new project was born: to spell “BLEEDINGOAB” with just Broad Street Boys nameplates. At this point I need only one letter, an “I”. Only one I’ve seen was a ridiculously priced Carcillo. And I just couldn't bring myself to overpay for his card. And I’d like to upgrade either or both of the Brendl’s.
So then the project evolved into spelling out “BLEEDING ORANGE AND BLACK” from any product. Just need to track down a “D” and this one is done.
And then finally I just had to try to put together a Flyers Alphabet. 7 more letters to go on this one.
In total I now have 53 Flyers nameplates, mostly from Broad Street Boys, Prime and last year’s Cup.
