Hey all,

I've been the last little while trying to figure out how to put this collection together. Finally over this long weekend I came up with a plan and have been working on it and have it uploaded to my Flickr account.

I'll attach the link at the bottom of this post as there are too many cards to post individually. I'd appreciate any comments or feedback as to what you guys/gals think of it.

I'm trying to get at least one card - Rookie Card, if they have one produced from every Newfoundlander that has played in the NHL and I'm always looking to add more if it's a card(s) that interest me.

At the moment I have or have incoming 24/28 players.

I have one problem with this project as from my research (hope I'm wrong) there are 2 guys that doesn't have a card produced (Don Howse and Bob Gladney). I'm hoping that someone here can help me with making a couple of Custom Cards for these guys. So if any of you guys/gals can help with the making of these or point me in the direction of someone that can, that would be greatly appreciated.

So here goes...

Nice job organizing and good project Paul. Nice to see all those Newfoundlanders in one place.

As for Gladney and Howse you will only find a Saginaw Gears IHL card for Gladney (78-79) Howse has a couple post card issues with the NS Voyageurs 76-77 and 77-78

If they released cards back in the day these would be the issues they would have if released same season they played. Usually the card came the year after so 80-81 and 84-85 cards would have been the norm

Always great to see some cardboard of our native sons. Great folder Paul and leave it to Geoff to make some beauties for your collection

I am originally from Robert's Arm Nfld and looking through your collection was very educational I did not realize there were that many Newfoundlanders in the NHL. Awesome job Left me bursting with Newfie pride thanks for that!

Love the presentation and this type of collecting!
