My Pens Collection

With exams coming up and being snowed in today figured it would be a good time to show off my modest Penguins collection. Been a huge Pens fan since the mid 90's when I was just a kid and started following hockey.. No not a Stars fan at all, Marty's just my favorite goalie and our families just happen to be good family friends of his father and mother.... Anyways, Only really 3 players I have picked up cards of... Mario, Sid and Fleury... Just sort of a side collection for when the Turco pickups are slow and I am very picky with what I get.

Start off with my Mario stuff....

Lemieux Game Used cards, would like to pick up more of the Return to Excellence cards

My Lemieux autographs... Still need one for the Hart to Hart set, also SLOWLY working on the Mario Returns set and Reprints set. My two favorite autograph sets of all time.




Now for the Crosby collection, just scanned some autos... Smaller collection

Another couple sets I am doing is the ITG Crosby set, as well as the Priority Signings of Sid.


Lastly the Fleury collection...

Question.... Your first Lemieux. The card is not numbered on /66 .... as mine ? It exists 9 different in this set and all are supposed to be numbered on /66.

That is one impressive collection for it being so small! Most people dream of having just one Sid and Mario Auto. Awesome work Tim!

Great post, and I like the first card the best. I remember when those jersey cards came out and thought it was pretty neat. Might that be the only time UD's actually game-matched a jersey?
