My short Expo visit

Made the trek down to the Big Show this afternoon. I headed to the HI booth first off where I was able to meet in person finally, Mr Speck himself. It was great chatting with you Brian, nice to put a face to the name after 6 or 7 years,lol.
Met Chris Carmichael to finalise a pre- arranged deal. Also met up with Wes, Bruce Almighty of course, pleasure as always my friend. Got to chat with Dan Hurst, Glenn Connors, Jeff (Gretzkycollector). I forgot, I also got to meet Rod (Crankshaft), good to see you bud.

Spent some time with Wes, opening packs and sorting various items. BTW, a big thanks to Bruce for the hookup on the Bond base set, much appreciated.

Also dropped in to see the Steve's for a short time. I met Doug and Darcy for the first time as well, great to see you guys.

At any rate I didn't buy a whole lot of stuff but here are some items I managed to pickup.

The 04-05 Stick/ auto was from a pre-arraged deal with Doug, also got a nice deal on the 06-07 Ult.Mem base.
The HSHS came from Chris Carmichael as mentioned earlier.

I busted a box of 04-05 US East Franchises and pulled these three;

I opened 7 packs of Series One and pulled 3 YG's and a Selanne Hat Tricks.

All in all a very enjoyable afternoon.
