First off, I hope everyone had a safe and Merry Christmas with their families and friends. 2019 was a successful year for me in the hobby, as well as my career. Started a few new PC's and was able to pick up some big cards. Thought i'd do something new and showcase my top 10 pick-ups of 2019, with only 1 of them being hockey

#10 Mike Soroka

Local Calgary born and raised, Michael Soroka had an amazing first year in the majors. Finished the year 13-4 and an ERA under 3. At only 22, scary to think how good he will become.

Purple /250 and /500 refractor RC autos

#9 Brian Urlacher

One of my favorite NFL players in the early 2000's. Completely dominated at the MLB position and was an absolute joy to watch.

2000 Bowman Best RC auto

#8 Mike Piazza

One of the greatest catchers to ever play in MLB. Started a successful 90's PC this year, and was able to pick up these 2 rare beauties.

Green & Purple Crusade /250 and /100

#7 Mike Piazza

Continuing on with the 90's, was able to snag a Piazza EX Credentials Future /86. Highly sought after and rarely ever seen.

#6 Mike Piazza

The next card is a super rare Destination Cooperstown insert. At a pull rate of 1:720 packs or 1 in 6 CASES, this is one of the rarest cards I own. Was able to pick this up with the original cord on it

#5 Mike Piazza

Who doesn't like the SPX Grand Finale /50 cards?

#4 Randy Moss

Coming in at number 4 is my all time favorite receiver. Absolutely amazing career and just a joy to watch him on Sundays. These red cards pop up rarely ever, and some aren't even numbered on the back and sell for a premium. At /25 and a POP 1, i'm very happy to have this card in my PC

#3 Scottie Pippen

When you think of the Chicago Bulls in the 90's, you automatically think of Michael Jordan. His sidekick Scottie Pippen was pretty darn good himself, and I don't think the Bulls win all the championships without him. The Prime Twine /500 is one of the nicest 90's cards....period. A BGS 9.5 is super rare to find and this is a card I always find myself looking at in person.

Hoops Prime Twine Die Cut /500

#2 Tomas Hertl

Getting down to the nitty gritty. Tomas Hertl comes in at #2. Favorite player in the league on an under performing team. The ICE /99 RC are some of the nicest cards. The fact that I was able to find his jersey # in BGS 10 makes it that much more special for me

#1 Lamar Jackson

Has anybody dominated the NFL like Lamar Jackson has? He's changing the QB position every single week and most times is completely unstoppable. Was able to snag this card before the ''boom'' happened. Perfect on card rookie auto, and only /35 in existence

Thank you very much for looking everyone! Comments are always welcome and appreciated. Let's hope 2020 continues where 2019 left off

That Jackson is really nice. That kid is fun to watch...I am hopeful he has an off game is my 49ers end up playing him in the coming weeks.

I'm a niners fan too. Gotta get through a tough Minnesota team this weekend first
