My Upper Deck 300 Win Club Set Progress

Sweet snag! Keep it up! One of the few mem subsets that I actually like. How many are in the set so far?

Amazing cards with some amazing history! Keep it up! I think the Hall is my favorite, but that Sawchuk is a gem, too!

Thanks man! I knew you'd take a liking to that Hall

*golf clap* good stuff, man. you like to praise my dedication on the 02-03 parkie retro - well, right back at you, buddy. :)

Thanks! I won't be chasing this set hardcore or anything, as I'm just chasing the main jersey/stick card versions, not the parallels (crazy set collectors $$$$$) , but we'll see if I can complete that one day.

Thank you! Currently, as of this post, there are 24 regular jersey/stick cards in the set so far, and all but one or two have the additional gold parallel #/10 as well.

You;re making nice progress with this project, always liked the look of these type of cards.Congrats.
Dan.

It's a beautiful set I think! One of the main reasons I made the decision to collect it. Great mix of goalies, too. Thanks!

Awesome addition Aaron and all the best going forward!

Thank you! I’m a goalie fan so it feels like this set was built for me, haha. Going to keep going and have fun with it in the process. We’ll see how far I get (up to 16 in the collection right now).

Sweet set. What cards are you missing. I will look at the Expo if needed.

Thanks! That is appreciated. You can find my remaining 300 Win a Club wantlist on my site at www.creasecollector.weebly.com/wantlist - scroll the the bottom and you’ll find my set collection needs.

I find these cards aren’t too bad to track down, but it’s just hard to find them at a price I’m comfortable paying, as some are listed fairly high as this set is widely collected.

The first mail day of 2020 leads to not one, but Two additions to my Upper Deck 300 Win Club set:

Up to 18 of the 24 jersey/stick cards in the set of of now. Just 6 more to go! :D

The POH design is fantastic, anything really with an NHL logo for the die-cut grabs me. Best of luck in finishing this project off!

I agree! It's a small detail with the patch window shape, but one that really reaches out to me as well. Thanks for the words of encouragement! :D

Very nice, you should also add the checklist to the first post.

Thank you, Tim! Great idea.

Love the Espo!

Saw your tweet from earlier. I just knew you'd like this addition!

Finally updated my set with the Cam Ward 300 Win Club jersey card from 2018-19 Upper Deck Series 2:

The prices of these things have been all over the map since it was released in last year's UD Series 2. I've seen it sell for as high as $150+ and for as low as $15. Patience paid off in the end as I was finally able to secure one for my set off COMC on sale. :)

Nice! And yep, patience certainly can pay off, especially with desirable sets like this. Wait it out for set collectors with big bucks to go nuts over the first few copies and then snag a copy much later for pennies on the dollar. Bravo!

For those who don't know, I recently made the decision to also start chasing the newer 40 Win Club variations in this ongoing set as well. They are serial numbered #/99, which is a nice challenge, plus they carry the same timeless design which I love.

The first one came in today:

Glad I was able to knock off the Brodeur right off the bat! :devils:
