Well after checking ebay every day for a year or so it finally popped up and I was able to win this sucker - and for under $300 too so I consider that I pretty good deal.

My Zajac collection is shaping up quite nicely - still a couple out there that I need to get and one that should be easy that I have yet to see (Trilogy Scripts anyone!) but we are getting closer and closer.

Here is a link to my entire Zajac collection - there are a couple that have yet to be scanned in but that is well over 90% of it - if you have anything that I am missing, please let me know as I am always on the lookout!

very sweet pickup! always great to see a player collector land a shield of his guy. glad it found the home where it belongs. ;)
 
Now that you have that Zajac solo shield, you might as well remove the "Ranger taint" from your Zajac collection... I think I know someone who could take it off your hands... :laugh:

That trilogy scripts has to be a super super short print if it was even made, I was looking for that for a long time as well before I stoped collecting Zajac.

I know of one other guy who has a collection similar to mine and neither of us have ever seen it anywhere - he would monitor every Beckett box break and nothing ever came up there or here that I saw and nothing has ever been on ebay - maybe it was never made...maybe I need to give UD a call.
 
Very nice! Just out of curiosity, have you ever been tempted to pull the trigger on the massive Zajac 1/1 collection on ebay now and then? I even find myself browsing through it :)

I know Troy and actually helped him pick up the Cup Black card that he has - I am not real interested in it simply due to all of the Cup Plates. I have never been a huge fan of them and did pick up one each of the four auto plates and that is really all that I want. I think he has almost 20 of the regular plates which doesn't interest me at all.

I do really want that Cup Black card though and have asked him to part with that one but he wants to keep them all together...we'll see how he does with that collection.

I agree, if Upper Deck just had the Masterpiece Plates inserted in the mainstream brand, then I'd still think they were great PC additions, but once they flooded the market, it became uphill both ways.. Still a pretty impressive collection, but yeah, I don't need that many on my plate :rolleyes:

EDIT: Okay, the uphill part really did make sense in my mind at the time :|
