Nagy awarded $3M, 'Yotes to accept!

Nice to see the 'Yotes accept this. Seein' as Nagy was there third leading scorer last year and all!

An NHL arbitrator has awarded Phoenix Coyotes forward Ladislav Nagy a one-year $3 million contract for the 2006-07 season.

The Coyotes have agreed to the terms and Nagy will be under contract for the 2006-07 NHL Season.

bet they're glad they signed Comrie now.
I don't debate Comrie is a lesser player than Nagy, but, despite that over a pt/game ratio...Comrie probably would have gotten more.

Hes my brothers favourite player, and he had 56 points in 51 games, thats pretty good, he'd be near 100 if he didnt get injured by his "NOW" teammate Jovo.. hope theres no bad blood

Nagy IMO is one of the most underrated players in the league, and hands down the best player on the Yotes (yes, even better than Doan). He's actually got quite a mean streak to boot, which is odd for a Euro. That being said, he's injury prone too, so I guess it coulda gone either way. If they get a full season out of him, that 3mill will be a bargain!

I agree, Nagy rules and Doan is very overrated.

Doan is actually very UNDER RATED. He might not be as offensive as Nagy but he is a very complete player!!!
