Need advice on a card's value

Anyone have an opinion on what the value of the Pettersson Synergy True Base Rookie /9 would be worth in the current market?

As far as I know only 1 has been sold, ebay for $1950 CDN. But I wouldn't put a second one selling for anywhere near that. Most second and third copies of the rarer Synergy rookies are dropping 1/3 to a 1/2 of the sold price of the 1st, so I would expect the next to be sold anywhere between $1k-$1.3K CDN. Longer term maybe settling around the $500-$750 CDN range. So I'd be selling now if I was in such a position.

I've been collecting the clear rookies from the inaugural set and prices have dropped unbelievably over the last year. I recently picked up my Synergy Clear white whale, the Boeser true rookie and jersey #'d 6/8 for a mere $250, a few weeks ago. Not long after I picked up the Dubois /8 for $27.

Perhaps if Synergy can gain some more popularity this time around maybe we won't see such a low bottom on their true rookies as we did with 17-18, perhaps even a rebound on last years models. But I wouldn't be jumping in too heavily at their initial inflated prices right now.

I agree that 2nd copy would sell for 1/2 to 2/3 of first copy. You did really well with the Boeser and Dubois! Wow! I'd pay that in a heartbeat.

I love these cards. And its great being in the minority as it keeps them less expensive!
