1) 05/06 White Jersey Set 3 (quite a bit of wear)(a few G's and A's as well as a OT Winner)

2) 08/09 Third Jesey Set 3 (a little wear)(a few G's and A's)

#1, the more wear the better.

First one would be more appealing due to wear and points.....white gamers almost always show more wear and most collectors love that including me!!

Well I have ordered the jersey of my choice and I thank you for your suggestions. A different jersey has come up for sale that I am interested in though. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the Meigray letter of authenticity or the original box it come in. Would Meigray send out a second LOA?

If the jersey has the meigray tag, Which i assume it does, all you need to do is email them the numbers and im sure they can help you out.

The nice thing about most set 3 jerseys is that it was used in the playoffs as well...oh wait, it's probably a Leafs jersey.....do they wear them golfing, might have some grass stains? j/k

I gotta agree with Bert :beer:

Initially, i'd have to say go with the 05/06 jersey, but the newer edge jerseys are kind of growing on me.

As far as replacing a LOA, I'm not sure how that would work. I know I emailed asking about replacing one I have that is all creased up, but I would have to send the old one in to get it re-done. The guys at Meigray are always quick to reply to questions and concerns, so I suggest just shooting them a quick email about the situation.

Well typically MGG wont replace a missing or lost COA to avoid having two COAs out in circulation.

Well after a few emails back and forth the seller does have it but it is with 300 other LOA`s and they don`t have time to go through the 300 pages to look for it. YIKES. :| I would really like to get it, but I guess it is up to the seller.

I have no opinion if it is real or fake, but the staples in the Meigray tag seems odd...lol. I'll be curious to see what Barry from meigray says about it.

The tag matches Meigray`s population report. It is very interesting to see what the poeple on gameworn.net have to say about it. Do you think this may be why the seller does not want to send the COA? I will have to contact Barry to see what he has to say.

I've been slowly thinking of getting into these game used jerseys.....kinda neat!!

The players wear multiple "sets" of jersey's throughout the season. Set 1 means the home and away jersey's they wear for a couple months at the beginning of the season. Set 2 is the set worn in the middle of the season and so on.

Most teams where at least 6 sets per season.

Then there are teams with third jerseys some wear 2 sets of these, then there are promotional games, shirts off their back and so on..

Most jerseys are worn anywhere from 8-20 games
