Need Help From HIs Finest Patch Detectives!

Hey eveyone

I just seen this card on ebay and have no clue wether the patch on the Kariya side is fake or real. If its real what part of a Ducks jersey it from. Im a hardcore Ducks fan but cannot think for the life of me where it is from? Maybe Allstar Jersey? All help is appreciated.

It looks to me like it was from the shoulder patch of those silly 3rd jerseys of the flying duck like 10 years ago.

Looking at the pics (and some guess work) look at the bottom back of the jersey and next to the CCM the duck down there would be the correct size and colour. Would UD have one of those?

I think your maybe onto something bigzippy. I totally forgot about the Ducks logo by the CCM patch. I have a different Ducks jersey with the same logo by the CCM patch. Thanks for the help so far guys!

Those jerseys would've had the NHL shields still - the Wild Wing pro jerseys all had the shield - the one pictured there is a replica

But it probably still is from the inside of the old shoulder patches with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim

I dont think it can be its way too small for the shoulder patch maybe they put the shield and the Duck patch on the old jerseys???

I think its the Ducks logo on Wild Wings chest

It could also be from a team patch inside the hem - the kind that denotes the year and the set used...

At no time, would the team crest have ever been next to the CCM logo on the hem, at least on an authentic game used jersey - it has been the NHL shield since 90-91

If that is indeed a Ducks patch, why waste a nice patch like that on a card depicting him on another team?
