I'm trying to track down this rare Thibault patch card /5 (to add to my PC).

I remember a guy from the hockey Beckett boards years ago had the card. I forget his user ID. But he was pretty outspoken and got banned often - lived in Cali I believe. His avatar was a picture of that infomercial sports card selling guru in the 90s.

Anyone remember him or know if he's on HI or sportscardforum? Or better yet, know who has a copy of this card?

Thanks for any help.

I am guessing you mean "fullbag" aka fullcolostomybag, who also was named Craig. You could try to reach him via his ebay handle (same as his old username).

That's the guy. Thank Greg, your rock.

Answer received within 3 minutes of posting. Very cool.

Yeah, that would be Craig. :p Funny thing...for whatever reason, I was wondering just yesterday what ever became of him. For all his gruffness...he was (not always) good for a subjective point of view on a given subject that I had not thought of before.

Yes, me too, I find these boards are tamer without him here. Then again, we don't have Beckett to complain about now ~ messing the site up.

He still got that suit he wore in California?

*2nd edit in 10 minutes* As gung ho as he was to kiss some carlsbad behind, Craig did have some valid concerns over the freefall of the beckett boards - and this was before they switched to the user-unfriendly format. Also a better buyer or trader I couldn't name once you reached a deal with him.

I agree. Although I never traded with him, I've never heard a bad word said about his trade practices or ethics. It was just his unwavering opinions that rubbed some people the wrong way. I was actually one of the few that didn't cross swords with him I think. I guess we really didn't have much to say to each other...LOL

One of my 2 suspensions came for telling him he was blessed with the objectivity of a moulding cabbage. Deep down I should have known better than to feed the trolls.

Ah, memories.

I'm enjoying reading this. I'm surprised he's not around here. Anyone know if he quit the hobby entirely?

Myself, after Beckett ground to a halt with their changes, I left the hobby for a while and just recently found this site & sportscardforum.

Glad to be back.

I had more than a few high end to very high end trades with Craig.

For whatever people thought about his personal shortfalls or sometimes abrasiveness - I would classify him as an A1 trader. I never had a problem with him from a posting standpoint either - but I do recognize that he rubbed many the wrong way.

I did find him highly entertaining at times - LOL!!!

We had our tete a tetes, but he was/is a good guy. I'm being serious about that too...good guy, good trader, great seller...blinded by Upper Deck. Blinds are off now, I suppose.

Glad the OP got to find out who has his card. If he still has it, I'd assume smooth sailing in reaching a deal.

Made some huge trades with him. But he was indeed more abrasive than sand paper . I still remember him packing his worldly possessions into a small cart and trundling off to Upper Deck to work in dizzying heights of corporate customer service...I wonder how that's working out for him?
I think between Fullbag, BBB and myself we must have raised Quincy's blood pressure more than just once (Sorry Steve). Ahhh, good times... :D Wish you well Craig, where ever you are buddy. -Mike

I miss Craig as well. I had a few phone conversations a couple of years back and he helped me pick up the Orr Property Of that remains my favorite card in my pc. I will be forever grateful and yes, Craig was always entertaining.
