Need help identifying a player

Alright. I've tried to figure it out for a couple days now, but my detective work has not confirmed anything.

Looking to find out who the player is in the background of the card.

If it is Linden, it would be from his Capitals days. But he was a Bauer stick user (not an Easton) as far as I can see.

Help sway me one way or the other.

I'd say it's Jamie Pushor. Played with the CBJ 01-02, shoots right, used Easton + had that kind of a helmet according to Getty Images pics and wore number 5 (there's 5 in his glove?)

It's conclusively definitely not Linden by way of...

As a Cap, Linden played the Flyers twice when Roenick was on the team. Once was a home game (which Roenick didn't play in) and the other was an away game, so focusing on the latter since it's a dark jersey...the away game featured an epic fight between Todd Fedoruk and Stephen Peat. Of all the Fedoruk/Peat tilts, only this one happened on the road, and after finding a video of that fight on Youtube, the Caps were wearing the White House 3rd jerseys...not the flying eagles...so on that basis, it can't be Linden.





Or...dude's too stocky to be Trevor Linden...whichever works

Little easier to prove it isn't Primeau...him and Roenick were teammates all throughout the season this picture would have been taken.

I'm with Nick...that definitely looks like a Blue Jackets jersey...now to figure out which CBJ player it was

Looks pretty conclusive that it is a CBJ jersey over a Capitals jersey.
