I need advice from you guys.

I am looking to move into the 21 century and need some direction as to how to go and do this.

I finally got rid of the old razor phone and got an i-phone 4s. I am trying to get my want and trade lists loaded onto my phone so i won't need to carry around a stack of papers. I have talked to a couple of fellow Hobby Insiders to see what they use, and have gotten Office 2, Google Drive, and a couple of older apps that don't really let you edit easily on your phone.

I like the looks and ease of using Office 2 but I am cheap and really hate paying for something if I don't need to. I have been looking at the Google Drive, because its free, but not too sure about using it.

What are you guys using, and what do you think of it? Remember I'm an old guy and not too computer savvy so the easier to use the better.

I don,t use i-phone but is there a apps for upper deck? if not they should have one with the checklist included so we can easily edit what we got and need...

thanks superdoup but i'm not actually using a companies checklist for my wants and traders. I'm mostly using excel and word programs

Google Drive is purposefully terrible on all Apple Products, however, I find that it can't be beat in terms of flexibility between mediums and realtime updates/retrieval. Moreso since you aren't saving it locally, and can make changes online without having to worry about having to hook up to a computer every time you need to update/upload changes.

My wife uses it for one of her collections, and it's pretty much terrible on everything mobile we have except for her Google Nexus tablet (surprise surprise) so whether you have it on an iPhone, Android, Blackberry, etc it works like crap...but...I still think it's the best free tool (not to mention no ads) out there for what it does.

My method may be a bit different, but I'll throw it out there...I created a spreadsheet with Office 2013 and saved it to my SkyDrive (20GB free with my Office 2K13 sub), and now with my Windows Phone 8 I can access it, edit, save, etc. anywhere. Also nice that no matter where I am I can get it loaded on any system with Internet access.

I use excel for my wantlist and I store it in Dropbox so that I can access it anywhere from my iPhone (and home and work computers) as dropbox has a great iPhone app.

I use Dropbox for lectures/assignments for school. Dropbox is such a great app and pretty easy to use.

All you would have to do is create a Dropbox account, download the program for your computer then make a spreadsheet using Excel and save it to your Dropbox folder.
Download the Dropbox app and you'll be able to open your spreadsheet whenever you want to. You can't edit the spreadsheet in the Dropbox app though.

Learn to love the Cloud :)

Google Drive all the way! Great for managing / editing all of my lists (see below) and sharing documents is great for collaboration purposes too.
