I decided to show off some player collection mail that has piled up.
One of my favorite things about Panini so far is their inclusion of Michal Neuvirth in their sets. He seems to be an afterthought in UD sets, but has been featured prominently so far by Panini.
Crown Royale Premiere Date /100, Purple /25, Ice Blue /10 and Calder Collection /99
Pinnacle Rink Collection, Artist’s Proof and Saving Face. Love the return of Dufex!
Months after the release of Donruss, I still hadn’t seen a copy of the Neuvirth Die Cut Gems /30, so when one finally popped up, I definitely overpaid. Of course three more have shown up and sold for significantly less, but I am still happy to have finally acquired this one.
Onto the player whose KHL cards I may be collecting next year!

Crown Royale In Harm’s Way /299 & Scratching the Surface Auto /100
Black Diamond Ruby /100 & Gold /10
Sp Authentic (I love the base cards this year) & Quad Auto /10. There is a Dual SOTT with Ovie on the checklist, but I assume that will be one of the mystery redemptions.
It is a huge relief to be showing off this card! I purchased this one in November on ebay from mgiuseffi but it appeared that it was lost in the mail. After a couple of months, I resigned myself to the fact that I would have to try to find another copy, which I still haven’t seen. Then in April, I receive a bubble mailer with a postmark from mid-November, still in perfect condition, and out pops this! Mike was great about it throught the whole process, thanks again, Mike!
Another big addition, this one puts the final nail in the non-1/1 portion of Certified,

Neuvirth The Cup Rookie Masterpieces Printing Plate Cyan 1/1.
This plate leaves only the auto plate from his The Cup rookie that I need to have one plate from every set that was inserted in The Cup.

This next card covers two of my player collections, and I was convinced that it didn’t exist. I was skeptical when only the gold version was on the checklist, and I hadn’t seen a single copy show up until one was listed on ebay recently. Without further ado…
OPC Premier Dual Signings Gold /10 Varlamov and Neuvirth
Finally, another card that I figured wasn’t actually produced. This is the first and only copy I have ever seen, and I was very excited to knock this one off my list.
