This is EXACTLY why we have a No-Gift policy. And while some of you might use the gift function with people you have dealt with before or trust, remember it only takes ONE bad deal to lose money. If you want to save the seller some costs, I highly recommend doing what another member suggested - increase your payment by the paypal fees or agree to split them evenly.

HI mods will not intervene if the Gift function is used on a deal on HI.

Always better to be safe than sorry...pay for insurance, registered mail and the resultant taxes if you cannot absorb the loss! Don't expect a seller to do this for you for free.

You get what you pay for. Everyone trying to be cheap over pennies. The potential to save a few pennies opens up the risk of being ripped off.
