I had a large Tretiak collection and started to get disappointing with all the cards coming out with the same photos being used and the same designs etc..

That's an unfortunate by-product of collecting a player no longer active. There are only so many pics out there they can use. I run into that for a non-sports collection I have as well.

Completely unrelated, your signature always makes me smile. I used to own the "http://czech-it-cards.com/" domain for my Jagr collection.

Great collection! I like the layout of the site. The only suggestion I may make is perhaps put some kind of description on the equipment? What year he used it, maybe a photo matched picture. I think that would add some great depth to the site and the collection as a whole. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks. I agree, and it is something I am planning to do as I have photomatched many of the items. I was planning on doing a mousover with a picture that photomatches the item, but I haven’t got to it yet. Have a couple of jerseys and a glove and set of pads to add to it too. I hope I get that done soon.

The pics in my opinion were actually just laziness on their part. Tons of great pics of him out there and I have a dozen slides myself. Water under the bridge now, however. It was disappointing. I waited every year for something new and it never happened.

That’s a sweet domain name, though.
