I received the new rate sheet from my Post Office today, the new rates start January 11, 2010. Here are the changes for the most common sized (#000) padded mailers.
Postage for within Canada for Other letter mail, under 100 grams increases to $1.22 from $1.18.
Postage to the USA for Light Packet, under 100g increases to $2.27 from $2.11.
Postage to all other countries for light packet, under 100g increases to $4.45 from $4.10.
I don't know why, but my post office wasn't supposed to be giving the new rate sheets out until Jan. 11 when the new rates are to effect.
