With the great thread about the hockey card hobby without an exclusive I would to see some creative set ideas that any company can do. I know some of you are very creative with photoshop and other programs so maybe posting some pictures. I was thinking of a set this morning with a stick theme to it. If anyone has ever collected backetball cards might remember the first year of UD Hardcourt with the cards that were made of wood. I have noticed over the years that they have warped but I think a base set or maybe a parallel set that uses this technology. Some of the inserts could be:
Jumbo Sticks - large swatches of sticks like the ITG stick racks
Autographed Jumbo Sticks - Auto'd versions of the jumbo stick cards
Denied - a collection of goalie only g/u sticks
Name Plates - use the name plates off the sticks
Stick Tags - put some of the manufacturers logos off of the sticks
Lethal Lines - put g/u stick pieces of some of historys greatest lines
Tandem Saves - dual stick peices of the best starting and back up goalie tandems
Evolution - This would be the extreme vintage (before 1940) old school (1940-1990) present (1990-present) and show the evolution of g/u sticks in history
