May I ask why Superman is fighting Spider-man? I thought they both fought for good

It must be one of those "cocaine plotlines" the writers create while snorting...you know

Due to all the bad articles in the Daily bugle by JJJ superman thinks that Spidey is a criminal. They fight a little until superman finds out that spidey is actually good. They then join forces to fight crime. Good old J Jonah Jameson is the reason for this story.
