NHL 10 Changes

Hi guys,

So, I'm on Dynasty #2 with NHL 09 for PS3. I was wondering what changes are in NHL 10 that would make me spend the $$ on it. I know there's 1st-person fighting, improved board work, but that's all. A few questions:

- Do fans actually throw hats during home-team hat tricks?

- Do they have playoff crowds (Orange Crush, Rock the Red, Pens Whiteout, etc.)

- In Be A Pro mode, can you still just skate straight at the net and have all the players let you through, or do you have to try?

- Is Claude Giroux rated higher than Crosby, Malkin, and Ovechkin, or just 2 of them?

Everything u said is true and giroux is much better then all 3

Not sure. Only trick I have was in the minors on the road. Someone else may be able to answer you on that.

- In Be A Pro mode, can you still just skate straight at the net and have all the players let you through, or do you have to try?

With the puck, it's harder to get the net. My gripe is that it's far too easy to lose the puck. Without the puck, you can set up shop in front although the defensemen will rough you up and try to get you out. A nice touch.

Overall, there are some nice additions and it's a cool game (the prospects game and actually getting drafted are nice little touches). I hate, hate, HATE the upgrades in equipment. Not just because you have to unlock them but because they look awful.

Very happy with the game overall and intend to play it once I get my xbox back. Definitely recommend.

Ryan u can have normal equipment with the Kane88 boost .... the home teams def throw hats on the ice .......the losing the puck part has alot to do with puck control.....
