They are also doing a thing like Madden did before where u can buy packs of cards in this years game to make an Ultimate Team and play against other peoples teams......

i can't wait... this is the only reason i look forward to school is because the first week NHL 11 comes out... but the crappy thing is it's graduation year this year so i have to stay off the games and study so i can get a good job and stay in this hobby ....

Madden did that this year aswell i bought the game the other day and it's pretty awesome

I made a H.I. team for the 360 when last years came out, didnt get much support but a few players. If we want to try again, I am game once 11 comes out!

I've been buying on 360 every year, but am unsure if I should try it on PS3 this time around.
Is it possible to import your own ditties and songs on the PS3 like can be done on 360? I've always been curious.

I told myself I didn't need another NHL game, since I got '10 but now that they have added CHL teams and you can start as a 16 year old and work your way up to the draft, it is a must have! Can't wait to make myself on the Regina Pats and beat up on the Moose Jaw Warriors.

I havent followed any updates as it has been pretty much a hockey free summer in all aspects. I as well cant wait and I buy it every year on the 360. Are there any other changes other then adding in the CHL?

Don't forget real-time physics on checks and puck movement

yea I couldnt remember everything .....the goalies are supposed to be better and the computer ai is supposed to be better

So I just checked out EA site. Looks like there is enough "New or Improved" in the game that makes it worth buying. Broken sticks = Cool New puck dynamics and player interactions = cool

Im not sure of the be a pro CHL thing though. It sounds very very cool, but I don't have enough time to play a year or two of junior, then AHL, then NHL. I mostly play GM mode still, and have only finished my 3rd season today, so at that rate I wouldnt get much further then my rookie year in Be A Pro mode

I skipped '10 cause there wasn't enough new stuff to interest me but I'll definately be getting '11.

As far as I've heard you only start your junior career at the Memorial Cup in Be a Player mode, not the whole CHL career. Did they announce something different?
