NHL Debuts 2015-16

The Leafs are set to see yet another player make their NHL debut this season.

With the recall of Frederik Gauthier from the Marlies this morning, the 20-year-old centreman will be the 11th player to make his NHL debut if he draws into the lineup tonight against the Buffalo Sabres at the ACC.

The team also recalled Josh Leivo, also on an emergency basis.

Gauthier would join Byron Froese, Zach Hyman, William Nylander, Kasperi Kapnen, Viktor Loov, Nikita Soshnikov, Connor Brown, Garret Sparks, Brendan Leipsic and Rinat Valiev as players to play in their first NHL game with the team this season, which is just all kinds of absurd.

Looks like January 9 was the cut-off date this year after seeing the Fleer checklist.

John Ramage was a carryover and is the only person due a RC, that hasn't had one in 2015-16

wouldn't necessarily say all those guys will be carry overs. Some made their debut before the supposed nhl all star game cup off (lipon for sure to name one) and I remember last year guys made it into sets as late as sp authentic in July (jordin martiniook of Arizona to name one).

As of Fleer Showcase, this years cut off is looking like January 9 - Last season it was January 15. So the ASG isnt necessarily the cut off anymore.
