He won't be added to the official list, as he is not under NHL contract, just a 24-hour emergency contract and won't get an official NHL card. But always a cool story when one of these guys gets the call.

That's a digital only thing as Topps doesn't have a license for actual cards.

Also very nearly made it to the record books ...only 1 player, Connie Madigan (38yrs) has debuted in the NHL at an older age than Alves (37yrs).

Typically no- but hes the first one of these guys to actually get playing time in a game.. so I guess there is a possibility.
