NHL Debuts 2017-18

Not sure how this counts but Ville Husso's plane was delayed so the Blues had to sign a "vending machine worker" Tyler Stewart for the game against the Stars on Thursday.
The official game sheet for the game on NHL.com has Stewart as a scratch but according to the Washington Post, Husso only arrived with 5mins left in the 1st period. So if Stewart was the backup for most of the first period, don't understand why he wasn't on the game sheet?

"So Stewart opened the game as Jake Allen’s backup.

“It was like a dream come true, obviously,” Stewart said.

Husso arrived with about five minutes left in the first period, and Stewart was sent up to his regular seats to join his wife and mother for the rest of the game."

Just an FYI - last season January 6th was the cut off for rookies that would see RCs this year vs next season.

So safe to say Sunday January 7, 2018 might be the last day a rookie debuting will get a RC in 2017-18. Anyone after will probably be a carryover to 2018-19.
