Just took a look at some of the guesses...the way things are going, I don't know if there will be a winner? The NHL Playoffs are crazy.

You may be 100% correct.Brian has been deleting anyone's guess who's team is out. So unless there
are some major turnarounds then you will be correct.But if that turns out to be the case I do have
something planned for those that tried.

Any suggestion for next year to try and get more people evolved with making a guess..The contest
is pretty simply to enter and not to be able to get 50 people trying it makes it seem like I am failing
at this. I know it had a lot more than the 50 views. So with everything being free than I would have
thought that why not take a chance on winning. Even if the few hundred dollars in cards I was
sending were not anything you may want.Then just donate then to a kid that is just getting involved
in the hobby.I am sure they would appreciate them.We will see what next year brings.Thanks.

I thank you for running the contest and I have no idea how to get more people. I mean you are offering up free cards for less than 30 seconds of thinking and typing.

Good on you for doing this and trying to do something nice for the community please don't consider it a failure.

Agreed. I have no idea why it didn't catch on. I can only speak for myself, but the only reason I didn't enter is because I didn't want to jinx either of the only 2 teams I had a vested interest in seeing win (spoiler alert: they're both gone :laugh:)

After last night's results, there are exactly TWO entries remaining...and they are very likely also done.

As someone who didn't enter the contest in time, I know the reason I missed it is because it was in the contest section, if it had been in hobby talk I would have entered, I don't know if you choose to run it again next year if it could be left in hobby talk that may create more awareness for the wonderful gesture you put forward. Just a thought.

I had also posted it in the hobby section with a link to the actual contest in the contest section.
 
Well my contest ended without anyone being able to predict the winning team.
Who would have ever thought that. With a team that struggled to make it would
beat the most winning-est team in NHL history.Thank you to everyone that
participated. Maybe next year will be better.Thanks, Winston.
 
So OK the contest ended without a winner. So I still wanted to give something away. So I took everyone's ID
and assigned them all a number. Then I randomizes the numbers. The lucky number was #7 who was flamesfan1216.
So I will be contacting him this evening to get shipping information, Thanks to all that tried. next year may be different.
