This whole NHL Wednesday Night Rivalry really struck a cord with me tonight. They build it up all week, they do a 30 minute show the night before pumping up the hatred between the teams, all the nastiness and dirty stuff over the years, they try to draw people in on the hatred side of the game, and then when something happens during the game, what happens? You get the biggest hypocrite ever associated with hockey, Mike Milbury, crying like a baby about it and calling players every name he can possibly think of and saying guys need to be kicked out of the league and coaches should be fired.

Mike Milbury, the guy whose been fired how many times for being an idiot in the NHL? Mike Milbury, the guy who was charged with assault on a 12 year old hockey player? How this idiot has a job anywhere near the NHL is beyond me.

If you're going to promote hatred in hockey with a show dedicated to showing all the animosity, don't cry about it like babies when something happens during said game. End rant.....

Milbury is a moron - I turn the channel every time he comes on the tube. I think the worst part about him is that he tries to come across as an intellectual when he is clearly a meatball.
Can't take him at all.

Hes there just for this reason rite now that you guys are talking about ....to get a reaction out of people .....

There must be a more intelligent way to get ratings and get people talking/watching. I rarely watch the guys in the intermission/post game any more b/c they don't really have anything intelligent to say.

I'm getting tired of these media guys saying such over the top stuff, calling players names, provoking controversy when there's really none there, and getting all worked up like a immature child.

Glenn Healy is another one of those pathetic fools. JR has his schtick too. Everyone is trying to be the next Don Cherry.

It's like Miley Cyrus meets hockey.

All you have to do is watch this entire video to see how big of a hypocrite and idiot Milbury and Jones are. Milbury especially has no room to talk, his 1552 penalty minutes, assault on a minor charge, and trying to beat a fan with his shoe incident speak volumes about the guys menality and character. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=71ZJQNh_IaY

I don't hate Healey, and I think that PJ Stock does a pretty damn good job when he is on, there are a lot of guys that I can do without and force me to change the channel.

Cherry goes through bouts of watch-ability but it's random and never predictable - one moment good, the next he's back to crazy talk.

I think they do a good job 90% of the time on the CBC Hotstove.

Milbury is a complete joke though, and his hypocrisy is laughable. I am really shocked that he still has a job. I know people tune in to hear off-the-wall one sided statements but he's unwatchable and I turn the channel when he comes on. I am certain I am not the only one.
