Brad Richards tied up a LOT of cap room.. Very sad here in Tampa Bay.. Not to mention, very Weird without him...However, from a Franchise stand-put, it was the right move..

After having read that article though it did help me put the situation in perspective.. Richards was a centerpiece of this organization OUR Conn Smyth winner.. now he is gone. As you have said Bruce this is a prime example of the "personal impact of trades on a professional sports athlete." Add to that the impact of losing a player such as this to our community and for our team.. Very sad moment indeed...
