Nice card, but look at the terms

Good afternoon Doug. There sure s a lot of reading there. But you know I agree with him on this bid sniping thing. It sure is the lazy way to win an auction. But I am sure that if someone wants the card than their snipe bid will just be placed a minute before the auction ends rather than the 2-3 seconds.
It may be the bids prior to that minute that may represent a problem. With all those conditions about having bids in prior to certain times.Like you said he is starting it pretty high but in fairness to him/her.It is their card and they can ask what ever they want.Ebay buyers will decide if it is too high with bids that they will be placing.Anyway Thanks,Winston.

The guy is kidding himself if he thinks he will rule out all snipers. it was a funny read though.... :)

And no scan? Not the best way to auction a card.

"In order to combat what I feel is a malicious threat to my enjoyment of the eBay experience, ...."

I'm sorry, but shill bidders and "peck" bidders ruin my "enjoyment of the eBay experience" a whole lot more than snipers.....

Maybe he can buy a scanner if he gets the $350 for this card. Yeah... I always love shelling out $350 for a card that I cannot see before purchasing it.

You know, I dont mind being sniped. It just means that I should have bid higher. Many times I wait until the last minute or even 10 seconds before I put in a bid. What is the difference between that and setting a snipe, besides the fact that the sniper is not sitting in front of the computer. I would bid on this card, but like I said, the starting price is a little high and the terms generally rule me out of bidding:( I dont think he will have to worry about snipes, because there will probably be only one or two bids anyway. I have a box of this stuff coming for Chrismas:) My little present to myself, hehehe. Hopefully I'll get one of the Yzermans that I need from this set.

Hmmm, definitley one of the oddest set of rules I have ever seen. As a seller, why would you eliminate the people who drive up your auction the most? 100% DUMB!! Good thing he started the card high.
