So a buddy and me walk to a comic shop downtown after lunch to get some loose packs. Grabbed three hobby Series 1 and did not get much - all base, a shining stars, and a Galiev YG. I'm like...hmmmm...does he follow McDavid in retail too? So I grabbed 3 more and let girl behind the counter pick the packs this time. First pack was a canvas base, second pack Medvedev YG (already I am thinking...I should just grab the rest of the box, and third pack...
Yes I know we have seen a million McDavid YG in show and tell but just something about that little rush when you hit one and for only $26! (by the way I think that little 2 second rush is called addiction!)
Then I get the email from my box in Port Huron that my Beckett Grading order has arrived. Hmmm...check the work schedule and decide to cash in on a few vacation hours and make the quick drive to get my parcel.
