wow thats a beauty! Wonder what jersey its from with the gold or could that just be the scan? It looks like the bottom of an A or R perhaps? Pretty sweet either way

It's the top of the Vintage "V" that appears on a number of retro jerseys. These patches always seem to throw people for a loop, but I really like them. Never came across a Ryder patch card with such a swatch, in all of my travels.

I saw that one in the eBay Store. I guess we know whose best offer was accepted now.
It's from the "V" in the vintage collection logo (upside-down of course).
The only reason I didn't submit a higher offer was that there is a chunk of jersey material rather than a complete patch.

Certainly not sour grapes, Brian. It was definitely a great looking card. I just couldn't bring myself to offer up what the seller was looking to get.
As I said above, it's still a great card and sweet pickup.

anyway besides that this card looks amazing it was supposed to be part of trade that i was looking for ... it did not happen so it is available for... surpris hot prospect 05/06 patch/au cards
