We talked about making a trade for it after he pulled it in his break but I had nothing he needed at the time. He then told me he would hold it and we would work out a deal in the future. Checked the mailbox on Monday and there it was.
I messaged Pete and thanked him and indicated I would send something for his PC as soon as I landed something, Pete responded that nothing was necessary and if I didn't track something down he was perfectly happy with it being a gift.
Now I still certainly plan on finding something for it or at the very least paying it forward to someone else but gestures like this happen in our hobby and can go unnoticed so I wanted to share this one.
Again huge thanks to Pete for his generosity you are one of the hobby's finest.
