Either he changed his auto or someone else signed for him.

since his rookie season, his auto has changed a couple of times, but the change still always shows a resemblance to his auto

I thought the same thing when I got back my Ovy/Backstrom Cup dual auto from last years cup. Completely different than his earlier autograph.

Player's auto's change over time. Compare any Fedorov auto from his first couple years to his auto from a couple years and there is a huge difference. Luongo is another one who pops to mind. He went from a somewhat looks like an auto to a quick scribble that looks like it was done by a 3 year old.

That crafty Wun Run. She must've learned her tricks of the "signature evolution" trade from Patrick O'Sullivan's secretary Pli and Anderson Silva's secretary Aaaaaaaaaaa A. Saaaaaaaaa.

I'm thinking he probably started going at it a bit differently after signing so much, and this is easier than it used to be with his old sig. Like Burner said...things could be worse. It could be Alex Pietrangelo who doesn't know whether his signature is coming or going year after year.

but the thing is, when a player DOES change his auto, it has the same characteristics incorporated into his new sig.


AND a player usually shortens his sig when he changes it ,doesnt lengthen it.

Backstroms auto is longer in this product, and has a seperation between first and last name, and has absolutely ZERO similarities to any of his previous auto's
