My last 'big' shipment of cards from October came today, so I guess it's time to make a mail post. I know most people are posting their expo pickups, but there's no way I can make it up there 
I'm still waiting on lots of base cards for my Ukrainian players list, but it's been three months since the trade, so it's looking doubtful right now...
Anyway, here are the cards:

Four more cards for the Khristich collection. I just bought the most expensive card he has from eBay and it's the most I've ever spent on one card. Otherwise, it's been going pretty slow. The Shvidki was the beginning of the 'onslaught' of his cards last month.

Picked up some more parallels for the Kozlov collection. One thing I don't understand is the 95/96 Donruss Elite card. If it's a die-cut parallel, why didn't Donruss actually cut it? And the Bondra doesn't really show up that well in the scan.

These came from Igor Otlivanchik (CSKA91) on eBay, who also added the Khristich card for free. Although, I have it already, it was still very appreciated. I picked up the two euro cards just because I like having 'international' ones. Zetterberg's quickly becoming one of my favorite players, so that card is kind of important to me.

The last Khristich before the big pickup. Also picked up these three Antawn Jamisons for my collection (for those interested in basketball). I now have all 3 of the Flair Showcase cards including the RC and Row 1. These cards are what I think parallels should be like. Instead of a different foil or color, they used different photos and even back designs for each level. Alright, enough rambling...

All these Shvidkis came from eBay from derock90. In the past month he's listed probably 30-40 Shvidki cards, including emeralds and Heroes & Prospects cards that I needed (numbers and patches). Too bad they were so expensive. Up for auction were the rest of the Private Stock parallels, but I was outbid on those. The ones I do have look kind of cool together. The Black Diamond triple brings me just one short of the set, just as in the 97/98 one.

Well, that's all for October. Doesn't really seem like a lot for one month. I'm getting pretty close to having 50% for the Shvidki collection, so I hope to get some more soon.
I'm also working on finalizing an actual wantlist/checklist on my Ukrainian players collection and making a separate site for it (sort of like what Andy has for his Vipers collections).
