I just got this email from eBay:

Dear mgiuseffi1969,
We're writing today to let you know that in early May, eBay will be removing the Self-hosting function for images in the Sell Your Item (or SYI) flow.

As a seller who has taken advantage of this function in the past, we recommend that you take advantage of a similar offering—the Copy Web Files function—which allows you to utilize up to 12 web-hosted images for free (excluding Motors Vehicles listings).

For additional photo tips and best practices that can help drive sales, visit the eBay Photo Center, and as always, thank you for selling on eBay!

Sincerely,

The eBay Standards Team

Does this mean I have to go change all the listings in my store? If so, I am pissed!!! I guess I need to rething my photobucket acccount as well. Any thoughts?

Ebay is making it harder and harder on sellers in a already down market. I love how they lowered the fee on the Anchor store to $199.00, but raised the price on listing cards from .03 to .05. Nothing like adding 66% to the sellers who actually use their storefront to their full potential.

Time to focus on my website and sportlots again.

Wow - I didn't even think of having to change every listing I have - not a ton like some of you guys, but still, changing 70 listings is a lot.....let me know if you get a solid answer, Mike.
