Non ebay purchase help

I recently bought a card from a person on yes another site and he has not replied to my recent emails.Promised to send by xpress post and since we both live in Canada I should have received the card by now.Just wondering if anyone knows if I can get a charge back if it was not an ebay purchase.

Unless the seller has a Xpresspost Tracking #. You just file a Chargeback on the items that you haven't received. Or so I've been told.

It doesn't matter where you bought it if you didn't get it file a claim with paypal

Maybe it's just me but I would never file a chargeback after only 7-10 days. It could be the post office or the guy may have had a family emergency or something. I would say give him a little more time. Mike

I have never did this before but I believe there is a 30 day time limit.I will wait for about 25 days.You are correct in that there is a lot of possibilities out there that could be reasons why the card has not arrived yet.But when I have an email that states the card is in the mail than it is not looking too good for me receiving my item.Thanks,Winston.

Yep, I agree with Mike. Hang on a few more days Winston. You know how pathetically slow Canada Post can be at times, even with expresspost!

The deal was made on Nov.1st and paid for at that time.I will wait until Nov.25th.I have the moderators from the other site looking into it but I am not placing much hope in their findings.Thanks a lot to everyone for their suggestions.Thanks,Winston.

Winston You Have 45 Days With Paypal. Last Week I Recevied A Card I Traded For September 5th From Canada It Had Track Marks All Over The Bubble Mailer Like It Got Run Over. So It Must Of Just Floted Around The Post Offic This Whole Time.

The problem I have understanding the time is that it was being sent by xpress post.That should take a maxium of 5 days from anywhere within Canada.The second is that the person has not replied to any of my emails requesting the tracking number.I started asking for that right from day one.
I hope that it arrives since I think it will be a nice card.I do know that I will never ever make another deal on that site.Been a member for a bit over a year.Made 4 deals.Have never received anything.This all after two of them LMK they received my card(s).And now this.It just get a person down on the people that are associated with the site.That is not to think that everyone is a bit shaddy.But it sure is discouraging.I will stick to the fine folks here on HI to do what bit of trading I do.I appriciate you LMK that it is 45 days.I can let it go a bit longer than I had planned.Thanks,Winston.
