Looking through some Gerbe cards on ebay, came across this

They did manage to waste a bunch of Magic Johnson autos on some baseball player in their prospect set, and I may have seen one other hockey example. The bigger an operation gets, the more likely madness like this will happen.
Topps is currently feeling the wrath for using modern jersey swatch on a Honus Wagner card... ouch!
