I don't really follow the other sports hobby markets much anymore so apologies if this is common knowledge (or has been done before) but when searching Chipper Jones I stumbled across a rather interesting new phenomenon (?) in the hobby:

Yup, those are scouts autos. As in... the scout who "discovered" said player.

I mean- some more coaches autos would be cool but scouts? What the heck is next? Trainers? Equipment managers? The people who scan your tickets when you enter the building?

Yep. Could have been worse. It could be the Ripmaster clown. Head coaching greats and perhaps the odd HOFer from the contributor sector should be the stretch for non-athletes.
 
I pulled a Fleer Devon Harris RC number to ten and autoed I was realy psyched until I realized it was the photographers auto.

Hans pulled TWO of those scout autos in his box yesterday. I laughed my arse off! I guess Topps is trying to be "innovative" LOL

I worked with the Canucks trainer this year training a few canucks... al be it, it was only for a day... but maybe I will have my own card some day:)
