What do you think of the following rumours::

Alfonso Soriano sent packing from RFK because of a position war to Toronto since they need a second baseman....If he goes there then the Jays will be a complete team.?.?

Manny to the Yankees - Sheffield to Boston straight up......gets rid of headaches BUT....makes new Headaches for both clubs....but wouldn't blow your mind to see that happen

Manny to the Angels - Vlad to Boston....wont happen but could happen....Vlad would love hitting toward the Monster

Clemens back with the Yankees - might happen...but anything is possible with Roger

Now what are your thoughts on wacky trades etc...

Soriano is one of the best all around 2nd basemen in the league. I would love to see him in TO...question is who would they have to give up?? The Angels would never give up Guerrero for Manny, they would be crazy to consider it.

Guerrero is just as good at the bat and considered one of the best teammates and outfielders in the entire league.

I try not to get caught up in the rumors but these are fun to think about, there are always lots of possibilities for rumors. Alfonso to anywhere is possible as I don't think he wants to play in DC, and considering Toronto is making a move I could see that one. Clemens back to NY or Boston would not surprise me or even back to Toronto. Sheffield for Manny wow two headaches there but also two very good players specially offensively. One that is not a rumor but could see happening is San Diego shipping Piazza off to the AL to be a DH once they find out he can't throw anyone out and does not want to play first base. Tejada to Boston for Manny been discussed, I am sure Baltimore would rather lower pay roll and take a few prospects instead of manny but who knows. Anyways there a couple of more.

Roger wants to stay near his family- I can't see him going any further than Arlington.

To be a good "all-around" second-baseman, you have to be able to play defense.

lol thats so true...Alfonso is a one dimentional guy....HITTING. He is great at that, BUT he isnt a "All-Around" player in any sort. He will have to really work at his defence for awhile before you can say that.
