I am a self admitted Wax Junkie. I have opened some great products over the years and some stinkers... That said, I think this years Black Diamond is the worst break I have ever seen. I only did one case... Very shocked at the lack of value (note to UD - A Mike Hoffman and/or Victor Hedman Jersey is not a "hit" in a higher end product). I thought maybe I just had a bad case so after calling around to some other case breakers and witnessing some online, I think my case was better than many. Scary bad and not exactly getting me excited about pre-ordering products coming down the pipe. I know, I know the RC crop is weaker this year. Well, UD knew this as well and I was hoping they would offset that by adding some additional content. Guess not.... I bet the folks at UD are hearing it from Shop Owners and Distributors. OK, Rant Over.

On the Brighter side, it's Bowman Draft week and after several cases, I am killing it!!! Love my Bowman Crack... I mean Draft.:devil:

I can totally feel your pain. I opened 2 boxes from one case and felt like Upper Deck could have at least bought me dinner first before doing that to me. I mean, this is the kind of product a company should be embarrassed and ashamed to have released upon the world. But that's just my personal bitterness I guess..

I can't believe how much I read before understanding why you needed the lube. I honestly at first thought you cracked so much wax, you hands needed some lube. I'm slow today.

I saw a Hischier quad diamond in a case break today. Not mine, but I got an awesome Scherbak rookie /399! It's fun to buy a spot and try my luck on Habs cards, but I can see myself paying for a whole box/case.
