Hope this is league discussion worthy.

Well I haven't really been into EA NHL for a while, but since Matthew is of that age where their brains turn to mush while playing video games, I figure it's my turn to do the same (yes, open for comment Bruce and Brian):D

There are many gamers on here, and I hope you are as excited as I am to play this game.

Maurice Richard, Jean Béliveau, Doug Harvey, Larry Robinson and Ken Dryden are all featured in the new game.

Check out the video clip, the actual video of the game kicks in a the 9min 30 second mark, and as a Canadiens fan, you will be blown away with the graphics.

FINALLY! i play heavily modified versions of 07 and 08 on my laptop and it sure is about freaking time that they include these guys in here instead of me having to find skins and other mods just so i can use some of the HOFers

Cannot wait for this. Between the added Russian Super League, the Czech League and Be A Pro, this is going to be amazing. I wonder if there are other all-time teams?

I've been waiting for this game for three months now and the time is almost upon us. I wish EA Sports would make a separate game or incorporate the major junior, college and all other leagues like that into a game so you really could work your way up the ranks kind of like the NCAA titles for Madden and NBA where you can import draft lists. I also don't understand why they don't take all the players names from other games (madden, nascar and so on) and add them so when you create a player the announcer will actually say your name instead of some generic nickname like "iceman" or just your first name. I'm glad to see they added some HOFers but they really need to pick it up and add players like Howe,Gretzky,Lemieux and Orr etc.

These are so minor for me that I don't mind. They've added so many cool features that this game is going to keep me entertained forever. Hell, I still play 08 frequently and I bought that the day it came out. :)

That EA Cup is going to be sick.
I got my team ready.
Looking foward to play vs some of you and/or hopefully play in a team with you.

I never quite got used to the changes in the controls that they started in NHL07... this looks so sweet that I might retry NHL 08 and just get used to it though!

Up until last year I haven't bought an EA game since 2001. When I bought EA 08 for (cough) Matthew, I was blown away. But having all my favourite Canadiens to play with (I love dolls) is going to be great. If I weren't so lazy I'd check to see if the Islanders, and Oilers dynasty's are in the lineup as well.
