didnt say he was a terrorist--said he funded terror per the story without knowing where his money went.

My question is if you are funding 2/3 of a budget--Wouldnt you want to know where the money was going to continue to fund it??????

he is very devoted and very stupid for not knowing where his money was going. Sorry, but that's inexcusable, to not know where your money is, is simply absurd, even if your rich.

Sorry to be the Devil's Advocate, but once you donate money, the money is no longer yours. Sure, he would've been stupid if he let his accountant fund terrorism with his money, but such is not the case. Money that he donated was used for terrorism; but he didn't donate money to terrorism himself; maybe indirectly. The organization he donated money to, donated the money to a terrorist front. That means the money belonged to the organization he donated it to before it was in the hands of terrorists. The money did not belong to him.

Olajuwon funded terrorists.

What a disgusting, disgraceful and misleading statement intended to make Hakeem look like a terrorist. Based on what has been said here, he gave money to a charity organisation and that is all, where the money went after that is not his responsibility. If they were funnelling cash to Al Quaida or other terrorist groups then it's up to the relevant law enforcement organisations to have not allowed it to happen in the first place, or stopped it as soon as possible.

BigD, I didn't read the article, I guess it just shows those you think you can trust you may not actually be able to.
