1990 Randy Johnson pithced his first no-hitter against the Tigers winning 2-0

2000 Fred McGriff hits his 400th homerun...he would fall just shy of 500 for his career when he retired a few seasons ago.

2000 Rick Aguilera records his 300 save becoming only the 13th pitcher to do so..

Its sad that the Crime Dog will NEVER be considered one of the greatest players in the game, but you dont hit nearly 500 HR's by just being pretty good.

Sad thing about Gehrig..who knows what other records he would have had that probably would have held up even to today: tragic ending to one of the greatest careers in the history of the game.

I was only about 7 years old when Johnson pitched that no-hitter..but I did catch his most recent one (and perfect game) against the Braves.

I remember McGriff during the Braves '95 World Series win, with Kelsko, Olsen, Pendelton, Smoltz, Glavine, Maddux..quite a team.
