I did one more deal with one of the locals in Dallas as he is getting ready to set up at the draft later this month so with some store credit I busted a little more SPA at his store.
Best hit:
I wasn't totally happy with that as the best hit so I drove up to the next local and the owner had just broken open a new case. This was the best hit of a three box break
Still no McDavid buy back pulled from either location so I think that ship has sailed.
I don't have pictures but while I was at this second local the new owner was finishing up a big purchase from a guy. He got cash and store credit. With the credit he bought a tin of 2015/16 CUP, a set of Topps Sterling Chrome and then a pack of 2012 Oval Office that had been in the store for six years. Big time price on that pack.
Topps Chrome sterling got the guy nothing. Best auto was Alex Bregman of the Astros.
Cup, a nothing rookie, Selanne auto and a beautiful Datysuk auto patch.
Then he took a deep breath and opened the OVAL OFFICE pack.
I had never seen any of this product open but the card is encased by Beckett and it is in a pouch.
Owner says "Please don't be Jimmy Carter!"
Guy pulls it out and you can see this

Because it is a dual cut of
Alexander Hamilton.
Hamilton auto was bold and in great shape.
Simply the best card I have ever seen pulled in person.
If you are on Twitter and I am not, I think the owner of the store posted pictures of the card. The name of the store is Triple Cards in Plano TX but I don't know if that is his twitter account or not.
