Decided to try a little project. I've done this with an Upper Deck set (05/06 Ice patches) but it was of course patches at the time. Also have come close to finishing the 05/06 SPGU jersey set but with only trying to get all non-white cards.
Opened quite a few of these boxes and almost all of the cards I pulled had multicolor swatches. So decided to try and see if I could put together an entire set with at least one multicolor swatch in it.
Have come very close to finishing. Only a select few left (and a couple easy ones I need to track down).
Currently the ones remaining that I need are
Lehtonen, Billy Smith, Jason Bacashihua, Ryan Daniels, Yann Danis. (The last three of them I have multicolor gold versions but not silver versions).
Most amazing on this set is the small swatch size on the multi jersey cards are complete. Figured those would be by far the toughest to finish but am left with only a handful of the single jersey pieces.
Thanks to Dr. Price and ITG for an awesome job done on all of their cards with their multicolor swatches. It sure makes pulling a jersey a lot more fun when you can get cards like this quite often.
Please let me know if you have any upgrades or the few left that I need. Would love to trade/buy em off of you.
