Well this is the first bit of 'Off-season news' that has to do with the Capitals.. :crazy:

I'm just glad that the Capitals weren't at fault for this one. lol I'm glad that this error was caught early enough to ensure that it is corrected.

The funny thing is, that out of all the fans that possibily looked at, the employees who received it back from the engravers, packed it up, took it to Chicago and put it on display, only ONE person noticed the mistake.

Truly, how much do these trophies even matter (the conference champs ones). The players don't even want to celebrate with it, barely even want to touch it.

I'm surprised the media outlets just didn't admit they didn't carry the story because no one really cares...

The Red Wings showed the world that the President's Trophy means nothing. San Jose missed the memo.... So did Washington. If that had only of dressed Semin in the playoffs......
