The cases I've seen busted have been worse than awful. Best auto has been something middling and the case hit would have to be a numbered parallel /25 or /15. What's happened to this product?

Weak rookie crop, rookie auto redemptions and epack.
I find too that the lowered numbered parallels are harder to hit this year. It just makes me assume that they over produced it.

Agreed. I've seen many breaks and it seems quite watered down this year. Pretty disappointing as it's one of my favorite products every year. Luckily for me, I stayed away this season.

I have to agree too. I've seen over a dozen master cases and most of the cases and case hits have been meh. They must have produced a lot more this year.

That sucks is that is the case. I thought OPCP had decent value in the past. But looks like this year, especially with those key hits not being included, is a big blow to the product.

Yes, sad to see UD watering down product. The GOAT prospect level is just not there to be increasing print runs. I collect soccer as well. There are more big names, and prices have all of a sudden gone through the roof. Big money is bypassing hockey at the moment.

Agree with you about soccer. There prices have been exploding the past couple of years since they really entered the card market. The Panini cards look gorgeous as well.

Thanks for the warning on OPCP. It has been one of my favorite products but based on the comments here, I think I will simply pass and if I want an autograph bite the bullet and buy the card on eBay.

I am in agreement that this product is likely not going to do you justice if you are buying one or two boxes. If so you will likely be disappointed with what you pull on the average.
The only winners will be the case breakers, so yes you can possibly make some great money back if you are going that route.
With that said, the short print pond hockey cards and Arctic Ice are the nicest collectible cards of the set, and look amazing in a 35 pt. magnetic.
And if you have a favourite player/team, then the Seismic Gold cards are the cards to also chase if you are in it for the personal collection.
